nice work, jack!

my little buddy jack
dropped by in the night!

i heard his spiky little paintbrush
scratching etching
on the bedroom window.

a tiny
triple zero
paintbrush

fractalizing
little water crystals
into spiked ferns -
splendiferizing the view!

hey, nice work jack!

  4. Nice work, Jack indeed. These etchings are amazing. A blade on the glass, crystal cut. Forests in the ice.

  5. Brilliant. For me one of the upsides of the recent cold spell was just exactly the sort of wonder you depict here. I had almost forgotten the spell they used to weave in my childhood. This year even double-glazing an d central heating couldn't keep them at bay.

  6. I am such a dork! At first I thought, "Who's Jack?" DUH!!! Maybe it is because I have never see his work in person. :)
    Those are amazing photos!

  7. There is nothing more beautiful than Jack Frost at his work Stevn - we should make the most of the next few weeks because soon he will be gone for another year.

  8. there's so much beauty in the delicate tracery the gentle fingers of Jack Frost magic on to a window.
    You have captured it beautifully.

  13. Stephen, I enjoyed your photos so much. This kind of frost is something I've rarely seen as it's just not quite cold enough in Victoria (or of course in Mazatlan!)
