wind fingers

silver-white fingers
of wind

stroke
entangled
bare
winter trees

cold caresses

the warmth
well-hidden

bitter winter wind --
blowing now
yet no leaves to drop

  12. Are those light colored trees birches? A stand of birches can be so compelling. It makes one want to just stand among them.
