the slender wealth of winter

in the slender
wealth of winter
there are small riches
waiting to be discovered.

~

i like to read
a similar
acknowledgement
in my interpretation of
liu zongyuan's poem

river snow

a thousand hills, but no birds in flight,
ten thousand paths, with no person's tracks.
a lonely boat, a straw-hatted old man,
fishing alone in the cold river snow.

  6. The first photo especially is both lyrical and exotic Steven. Very unexpected. I like it.

Enjoy your day in Toronto and be sure to wave as you're going past Scarborough.

  11. It's the only way to walk! Love Rumi's thought in your sidebar; when I get down, instead of wondering what it's all about, I'll remember it. Thank you, Steven. xa
