Steven, you've got really interesting skies where you live. Here in coastal California, the sky is often empty of clouds, especially in the summer and early fall. We do get gray overcast and fallen clouds (fog) near the coast. We don't often see dramatic cumulus clouds as you do.
hi ellen, i have never seen real mountains. well i saw the foothills of the rockies from a plane when i landed in denver once, and i've seen the "mountains" of england and scotland wales and canada's east coast but not real mountains. i think it would be amazing to see them - especially everyday! thanks for visiting . . . have a peaceful evening. steven

hi dan, the skies are forever changing and i spend a lot of summer time and autumn looking at them. weather blows from the west usually and works in big circles so there's usually lots of time to see cloud formations develop, arrive, reform, leave or better yet - to converge and then it is really lovely!!!! i love fog - especially coastal fog. have a lovely evening. steven
Hey Steven. Well, I meant that the clouds here are like mountains on the horizon. No real mountains here, I live on the coastal plain of Texas. Flat, flat.
ahhh dear me ellen, i laughed when i read that!!! sorry - i didn't read your profile and so i assumed you were somewhere wayyy out west!!! i bet that if you stood on a step-ladder you still couldn't see the rockies from where you are!! there are hills in texas though aren't there. i think one of my other readers from texas (lizzie frizzfrock) had some pics of hills in her most recent entry. see you soon. steven
Hi,the strangest thing happend minute ago,I was surching for miniscule,lolipop and from nothing I heard a sound of a old film with roaring lions or something simular.Crazy! hi delwyn, it is a catcher's mitt as well yes. clouds are like a rorschach test onto which we project whatever we need. i've watched some incredible cloud shows through the course of today - none of them would have made sense to another soul but they did to me. so i think their might be a place for a cloud book. it could be the equivalent of a pillow book - write down what you see!!! it might tell as much about our inside lives as our dreams!! have a peaceful lovely day. steven
It will - it doesn't matter if the carrier is the ink blot or the cloud or the empty chair, or when I counselled the symbols in the sandtray...anything can be useful to project onto and be used for gaining greater self understanding...
hi amelia . . . there's so much loveliness around us that giving a moment's attention to them can transport you away from almost any worry. it's healthy, happy-making and reminds us of the tremendous riches and fortune that we so often take for granted or simply overlook in the daily rush or more commonly by being focussed on our challenges. some of the healing that can take place in a person begins by learning to love nature. have a peaceful day. steven
the clouds remind me as i look at these images of when my children were small and i would throw them (gently!) into the air and catch them. they would wriggle and squeal with the excitement of it!!! have a peaceful evening. steven
